From our "She-Entrepreneurs-Tor" chapter, I'm pleased to introduce you to its newest member. Meet: Aisha Addo, founder of Drive-HER. Here is her Index-card interview:

How long since founding/running your business? Founded in 2016. Yet to Launch. Expected launch late 2017.

Mission of your firm: A ride sharing platform designed to provide an alternative transportation service specifically for women by women.

Why the entrepreneurial path? Entrepreneurship was something I sort of fell into. It wasn't always my plan but I recognized a need and basically provided a solution to it. The path of entrepreneurship is a long winded one. Often times it comes with uncertainty but it's always rewarding when you stick through. Still learning what it means to be an entrepreneur, to be honest.

Lesson(s) learned? Believe in your vision enough to fight for it. Nothing good ever comes easy.

Advice? Be patient with yourself, trust your process and do not give up no matter what happens.

Fun/interesting fact about you within your industry/career? I am a woman running a business for women in a male dominated industry. It doesn't get any interesting than that :D
